A Day in the Life at Our Day Centre

Each day at the day centre is full of engaging activities and chances for our participants to develop, learn, and interact with others. Our planned programs are made to accommodate each person’s specific NDIS needs and goals, making sure we create opportunities for success and make a great change on the lives of people with DisAbilities.

Our team extends a warm greeting to everyone as we start our day with stimulating conversation while participants enjoy their morning tea and move to activities like educational games, exploring the community and events. In addition to mental stimulation, these exercises promote cooperation and problem-solving abilities.

We move forward to physical activities as the day goes on. Ball sports including basketball and soccer are available for participants to enjoy. We provide swimming sessions in pools for anyone who enjoys the water. All participants benefit from these healthy and energetic activities.

For everyone, lunchtime is a special time. Our participants get together to socialise with their friends and eat a healthy packed lunch and get a choice to buy their lunch depending on the day and needs.  It’s a fantastic chance to unwind and replenish energy for the afternoon’s events.

We provide a range of imaginative afternoon activities, including discos, karaoke, and cooking lessons. In addition, participants can go on a bike ride or work out at the gym. These are not only enjoyable, but they also foster the growth of new interests and improve their abilities.

We get together at the end of the day to discuss the events of the day. Participants talk about their best experiences, lessons learnt, and they get to take good memories and making plans for the future terms programs as we get their feedback and review new activities.
